Arts and crafts with some specific Macintosh themes dictated by client. The white chair is made from sycamore which is a native timber that is very light in colour. Contrasted with the darker chair - this is made from oak which has been darkened by fuming with ammonia. This was a technique used by the original arts and crafts furniture makers in the 1800's.
