Made with native oak and olive ash, finished with shellac, lacquer and wax.
For strength, the legs and frame were constructed from oak. The wood has the character typical of Scottish oak, often referred to as pippy, this simply means it has attractive pin-knots. The top is of olive ash. The natural variation between the heart wood and the sap wood compliments the oak.
